Wesley preached his first sermon when he was 9, and from that point on he has been preaching to audiences all over the world. His passion is to help people grow in their relationship with Jesus. In his free time he can be found playing with his three children or spending time with his wife, Amanda.
Andrew has served as the Youth and Family Minister at Woodson Chapel since 2012. He has 10+ years of youth ministry experience. Andrew is a graduate of Freed-Hardeman University where he earned a BS in Biblical Studies. He serves on the board for Adventures in Ministry as the chairman of Youth Minister Relations. Andrew is the cohost of a popular podcast, The YM Podcast, a podcast for Youth Ministers by Youth Ministers. Andrew is married to Kadee, and they have one little girl named Mamie Grace and are in the process of bringing a child home from Madagascar.
Greg moved to Nashville in the fourth grade and has been here ever since. After graduating from Lipscomb University, he met his wife, Sheryl, at church. They have three adult children who also live in Nashville. Greg has been teaching elementary school for over twenty years and has been serving Woodson Chapel as the college and young adult (CAYAC) minister since 2014.
Mike currently serves as the Involvement Minister at Woodson Chapel. He was a Youth Minister for 29 years and served right here at Woodson Chapel for 16 of those years. Mike has taught Bible and coached basketball for over 30 years. He is currently teaching and coaching at Nashville Christian High School. Mike is married to his best friend and right arm in ministry, Lisa. They have 2 children named Brent and Brad. Brent is married to Lindsey, and they have one child named Mason.
Wendell was born and raised in Nashville, TN and has lived here all of his life. He has been preaching the Gospel for over 45 years, including eight years at Woodson Chapel. He works at Woodbine Funeral Homes and serves as an elder with great joy.
Ford was born in Montgomery, Alabama, in 1952, but has lived in Nashville since 1955. He attended Lipscomb University, where he met his wife, Wanda. They have three adult children and six grandchildren. Ford retired after 30 years as a government attorney. He has attended the Hillsboro, Central, and Woodson Chapel congregations, and became an elder at Woodson Chapel in April 2012.
Jimmy was born in Nashville and graduated from Lipscomb University, where he met his wife, Susan. They were married in 1989, the same year Jimmy began teaching in the department of communication and journalism at Lipscomb. Jimmy and Susan have two adult children, Lauren Johnson (married to Daniel) and Drew. Jimmy has served as an elder since April 2012.
Kendall, a Knoxville native, has always lived in Tennessee. He met his wife, Kim, while attending optometry school in Memphis. After graduating in 1981, he settled in Nashville to establish his practice. Soon afterwards, they began attending Woodson Chapel. They have raised two daughters and now enjoy having two grandchildren. Kendall began serving as an elder in February 2006.
A native of New York, Tim returned with his parents to Tennessee, their home state, after stops in Indiana, Iowa, Ohio, Texas, New York, New Jersey and Wisconsin. Tim grew up in the community near Woodson Chapel and graduated from Lipscomb University, where he met his wife, Sandra. They have two daughters, and he is a CPA in public practice. Tim enjoys reading and traveling with his family. He has served as an elder since December 2010.
