College and Young Adult Minister

Greg Adams 2

Greetings, my name is Greg Adams. I am the minister for CAYAC — the College and Young Adult Class.

I grew up mostly in Nashville, graduated from Lipscomb University, and later received a master’s degree in education from Tennessee State University. I have worked for the State of Tennessee and Metro Housing and have been teaching at Lipscomb Academy for close to two decades. I also spent 13 years working as a children’s education minister at a local congregation.

I am very thankful for and proud of my wonderful family. My wife, Sheryl, is from Atlanta and graduated from Freed Hardeman University. My three children, Luke, Abigail, and Noah, were born here in Nashville and continue to live here in Nashville.

Working with young adults has been an exciting adventure! Our ministry wants to be a continued home for Woodson teens once they leave the youth group and a home away from home for students and young adults who are living in Nashville. Our ministry wants to study, praise, and serve God and enjoy being a part of an encouraging family. Join us in classes, devotionals, retreats, mission trips, fellowship, and worship.
